Clinical Psychologists and Psychiatrists
There are currently three Clinical Psychologists and a Psychiatrist based at Cornwall Street Medical Centre. These psychologists can assist you with a wide range of mental health difficulties. The Clinical Psychologists at Cornwall Street Medical Centre will work closely with your clinical team including your GP, psychiatrist and other allied health providers, to provide you with the best care possible.
Referrals
If you would like to see one of the Clinical Psychologists at Cornwall Street Medical Centre, you can obtain a referral from your usual GP or Psychiatrist. You can also book in with a GP at Cornwall Street Medical Centre for this referral. Private and third-party referrals are also accepted by the Clinical Psychologists working here.
Consultation Fees and Rebates
If you have a referral from your GP or Psychiatrist, you may be eligible for a Medicare rebate on your psychology treatment. To find out more about individual psychologist’s fees and Medicare rebates please call 07 33461122.
Alternatively, if you have private health insurance, you may be eligible for a rebate on services. Please contact your insurer to find out more.
